Preparing for The Pierces.

I was originally going to do this blog entry for my music blog... but then I realized I'm just going on about my outfit so it would be better suited here!

I tend to do a fair amount of preparation for most gigs I go to (if you didn't know, I go to a lot of gigs) - admittedly most of that preparation is my outfit.

In a weeks time I'm going to see The Pierces and a lot of my preparations are of course, my outfit.

My gig outfits are usually based on something about the singer/band I'm going to see or sometimes the style/genre.

I have a white based, kind of flowy outfit planned. With lace and flowers. I don't really wear dresses that much, mainly because I never find or imagine any dresses that would suit me. But anyway, back to the outfit, I guess it's based around their style and their music. Very soft, flowy, and boho-like.

I took some photos a few days ago:

Dress; Flower Hair Clip; Gloves/wrist bands; Shoes (the shoes are a lot lighter than they are in this photo)

Also; Lace tights!






I also bought a flower crown, but I'm not sure if to wear that or the flower clip.
The dress is the one I wore when I moved, you can see it properly in the outfit post I done.
I'm literally in love with the little wrist... things - I clearly have no idea what they're actually called, feel free to let me know, haha! - They're just so pretty (!!) & I've been meaning to buy lace tights for a while but haven't 'til now. I love them!
As for the shoes, I wasn't meant to be buying any more shoes. (...like that was actually gonna happen though) but they are oxfords (my favourite)! And they were in the sale for £8... EIGHT?!

I will be doing a proper outfit post after the gig, but I just wanted to share what I will wearing!

What I Wore - 22/04/11

I think it's safe to say I went shopping a lot during the period of having no internet!
And so I'm going to do a 'shopping' post tomorrow or in the next couple of days, but today, an outfit post!

I went to town twice (haha) because, this morning I went with my parents and then my sister came over and asked If I wanted to go to town with her too. And this is what I wore!

Studded Vest Top - EMP Online
Plaid Shirt - Internacionale
Red Tights - Internacionale
Brogues - Primark
Bag - Egg n Chips Clothing
Sunglasses - I have no idea... I'm pretty sure they came free with a magazine at some point, haha!


I bought the shirt and tights today and the brogues yesterday! (I love my new brogues!)
It's been soo hot these past few days (!!) It's supposed to be even hotter tomorrow (...which I can't comprehend at all) and so I'm hoping it will last another day so I can go to the beach on Sunday! ♥

Stars & Stripes - Outfit [17/4/11]

Keeping up with my April Goals/Wishes/Aims by doing another outfit post!
I'm going to be doing a review of the other goals etc. at the end of the month with a list of my new goals for May! But I have a little more time yet to complete the April ones (...which I'm more than glad about).

You'll obviously have to excuse the state of my floor... The house wasn't very clean when we arrived and I've been dragging boxes all over the floor, so it desperately needs hovering.

My new shoes arrived today (!!) ♥ I impatiently sat and waited for them to come,  and I thought they would be awesome for the first outfit post on my blog! And so, away I went to raid my rail of clothes that are still out (because I'm moving - Note: no girl should ever have to pack clothes away. Ever.). 

I have my 'going' outfit (what i'm wearing the day I move) in my mind. It involves these shoes, but not this exact outfit. I don't have the complete outfit yet, it's been bought, but Mr. Postman (Or Miss Postlady... as it is quite often) is yet to bring it and I didn't want to wait to show you these shoes!

P.S - I was also wearing a super awesome hair band with a huge bow on it - but this blog post is already quite picture heavy. Haha!

Today I bring you the outcome of my procrastination! I think summer is at the front of my mind at the minute, there's a lot of sunshine around today! Yay (!!)
