Finally

Finally, we have internet! Having moved on the 11th, I figured it'd take them a couple of day's to re-connect us (it's not as if we were changing providers...) but apparently not. It took just over a week.
I'm sure we're all aware that I'm nothing without the internet (haha) It was kind of nice for a few days...
I got a lot done. I unpacked a lot more stuff than I would have if I had internet access.
Sometimes it's nice to take a little break, turn your laptop off, just sit and read for a while.
But not for 10-11 days... for me.
And so I'm more than glad everything's (nearly) back to normal.
I have a lot to catch up on... and I mean I lot. I have 149 messages and 305 (and counting) unread blog posts on bloglovin.
So today, after I've been out, I will be playing catch up properly & checking out all the comments you've left, visiting your blogs etc.
A huge thank you for understanding and sticking around even though there's been a bit of a delay in posting and lack of real posting.

I'll be posting properly, later on!

Today, I thought I'd share some of the photos I've taken since I arrived at my new house.
I'm seriously lacking in time, so it's a quick post - Having no internet at home is completely making everything so much more harder.

This weeks love list has a bit of a unintentional theme.. moving.

Little pieces of loveliness;
♥ Finally moving house - even though I'm highly frustrated by the lack of internet, it's nice to be here. ♥ Unpacking all my stuff! ....And wondering where it all came from. ♥ Planning the decoration of my new room... I'm thinking purple. ♥ Spending too much time in the book store... Previously I lived in a tiny town that didn't have much of a book store, so it's nice to have a big one. ♥

A few stressful hours later...

I made a (real) daisy head band ♥

I've officially moved house (!!) After starting the day at 7am, the removal van coming at 9am, then getting a taxi at 10:45am... I can officially say we successfully moved house! There was a few little bumps, and let downs... like the house being far from tidy. Oh, and one major thing: They won't re-connect us to the internet for at least 3 days. It was supposed to be within a day, seeing as we gave them a lot of notice.

And so, sad to say I'm not spending tonight in the new house.. but two streets away, at my sisters.

So I can use her internet, haha. Yes, internet access means that much to me.

As stupid as it sounds, I get really bored without internet, and too much bordem makes me go a little... blah.

Anyway...

While I was waiting for the stuff to be put in the removal van, I went out into the garden and made a daisy chain... which I then converted into a headband. :D (see picture above)

Thank you for all the sweet comments wishing me luck with the move! ♥ You made my day.

It was all a little stressful, but I've moved enough times to expect all of it.

I'm glad to be here. It's kinda nice to be back in the county I was born in.

The Last Photos

As I'm moving tomorrow I decided to go round my house and take a few 'last' photos.

1. Bags filled with my stuff (literally, filled) 2. My oldest teddy & a panda my mum made me ♥ 3. I wanted to include my red wall... 4. My clothing rail. With 3 items I'm wearing tomorrow. 5. My guitars. All packed up. 6. The bags I'm taking on the journey. 7. Bags, suitcases, boxes.. galore.

P.S - Like I said in the previous entry, I don't know how long it'll take for the internet to be reconnected. So there might be a delay in blogging.

Shadow Shot Sunday [#2]

Happy Sunday! Although It's been incredibly sunny, I've been stuck in the house recently because, as you may or may not know, I'm moving tomorrow (!!).

And so my life has been all about boxes recently. So I haven't been able to get out to take any photos of shadows outside. But. Yesterday, I spotted the most incredible shadow in my bedroom!

I swear, it took me literally 20 minutes to figure out what the shadow was coming from... and to be honest, I'm still not completely sure.

My conclusion (after 20 or so minutes...) was that it was something to do with the metal part of my chair.

My chair has a circle, metal base and I think it was partly reflecting off of that. I stood in front of it and it blanked out the shadow. So it's either the chair or something on the chair.

Poor explanation over. I hope you're having a great weekend :]

As I said, I'm moving tomorrow and I have no idea how fast we'll be reconnected to the internet so, there might be a little delay in posting.

Skulls & Stripes ♥ Outfit - 07/4/11

Outfit - 07/4/11

My new shoes arrived today (!!) ♥ I impatiently sat and waited for them to come, and I thought they would be awesome for the first outfit post on my blog! And so, away I went to raid my rail of clothes that are still out (because I'm moving - Note: no girl should ever have to pack clothes away. Ever.).

I have my 'going' outfit (what i'm wearing the day I move) in my mind. It involves these shoes, but not this exact outfit. I don't have the complete outfit yet, it's been bought, but Mr. Postman (Or Miss Postlady... as it is quite often) is yet to bring it and I didn't want to wait to show you these shoes!
