Apologies for the lack of posts. I was away for a few days and got back yesterday.

Just a reminder that - if you're interested - my new blog: Tales of Chaos is updated most days. But obviously, that blog is centred around me & my life and you might not be interested in that.

Anyway. Welcome to this weeks TiLT! Yes, I'm actually posting it on the right day this week.


♥ I spent 2 days in Sheffield. Got lost once. Saw my favourite person in the universe. And every second was worth it. ♥ Listening to 'Watching people on trains' on a train, while texting the person who wrote it. ♥ A new sweet shop just opened in my town... it's magical (!!) ♥ Making birthday related lists. ♥ Ordering my birthday dress! I done it yesterday, it's none of the dresses I have featured. I knew that would happen. If my camera decides to work I will be sure to take some photos nearer the time. The first photo(s) will appear on Tales of Chaos though! ♥

♥ Birthday preparations - 20 days to go ♥ Birthday dress searching ♥ Sheffield in 4 days. Going to see my favourite person in the universe - Dave Giles - And possibly my best friend (!!) ♥ Wearing the things lurking in the back of my wardrobe ♥ Matching lipstick & nails: See here ♥ Looking at shoes I can't afford... or walk in ♥ Putting more effort into my make up - I used to make such an effort and until recently I completely fell out of it. ♥ What did I do during my week long unannounced break from blogging? Listen to Dave's new EP & got out my colouring book of course! ♥

Birthday Dress Inspiration

Yesterday marked one month 'til my birthday (!!) And so I thought some birthday dress inspiration was needed.

Alice Dress by Jones and Jones @ Topshop - £65

If I had to pick one dress out of all the dresses here, it would be this one.

It's currently out of stock in my size though. Boo! And not in my ideal budget.

Stripe and Block Dress by Wal G @ Topshop - £32

I do love stripes... a lot. And the colour red!

Pink Ballet Dress @ Miss Selfridge - £39

You may or may not know that I'm not a huge fan of pink. For me to wear it, it has to be really bright or like this dress, kind of dusky and subtle!

Bright Turquoise Bow Prom Dress @ River Island - £44.99

Doesn't this dress make you happy? It's my favourite colour and it has a bow... so that makes me very happy.

Birdie Button Dress @ Sugarhill Boutique - £30

Again.. my favourite colour is blue so this dress is automatically awesome!

But, it also has this incredible detailed embroidered bird on the back (!!)

Oh, and I believe the buttons are actually pink?! Which is so pretty.

Rainbow Butterfly Dress @ Sugarhill Boutique - £62

Again, not in my ideal budget. But it is a beautiful dress and completely worth the price.

Those are my favourites right now in terms of 'birthday' dresses.

I find my 19th birthday quite daunting but I think it can be sweetened with a pretty dress...

Big pieces of loveliness; 

♥ Gala Darling is Engaged (!!) How wonderful is that?! Big Congratulations to her! ♥ Dave Giles (Aka: My favourite person in the universe) uploaded new recordings of some of the songs that are going to be on his new EP - Current favourite: Watching People on Trains ♥ Playing catch up - It's quite daunting, y'know there's 347 posts on bloglovin waiting for me... but I actually find it quite interesting and fun going through everything I've missed all at once. Reading a lot of posts is better than reading none. ♥ Having a breakthrough in my song writing - after a solid couple of weeks, I wrote 2 songs in one day and wrote another one the next day. You have no idea how happy that makes me.

Little Pieces of Loveliness; 

♥ Tweets that make me smile ♥ New music (!!) ♥ Record shopping & having a legit conversation about The Runaways with the store owner. ♥ Parcels, post etc. ♥ Planning major adventures ♥ The glorious weather: Thunder, Lightning, rain.. rain & more rain... and sunshine! ♥ Witnessing my mum pick up the phone in the phone box because it was ringing... rad mum. ♥ Getting my 'country' fix by finding some awesome new Tumblr's dedicated to everything country (!!) ♥ Wearing lace tights & bright pink converse ♥ It's JULY. I'm excited for many reasons. But in general I'm always excited about a new month ♥
