[Important] Change.

So, I'm doing something I said I wasn't going to. You may have noticed I haven't been posting here much especially since I revived my personal blog 'Tales of Chaos' and I've been posting most days on there.
So I've made the decision to close this blog and just have Tales of Chaos.

I'm sure some of you will want to know why exactly. And basically, Tales of Chaos is the sort of blog I've always wanted. This blog, isn't.
Tales of Chaos is of course centred around me & my life and so is very different from this.
But that's the kind of blog I want to focus on now.
I hope you guys understand my decision. It's not as if I'm stopping blogging... far from it. I'm just moving onto something different.
And I completely understand if you don't want to follow Tales of Chaos - as it's so completely different than this.
But if you do decide to follow, I thank you kindly.

Tales of Chaos

Just a little post today to tell you about my new blog.
I'm not gonna be deleting this blog or anything crazy like that... the now two blogs are for completely different things.
This blog - Rock n Roll Gypsy is for fashion & style related posts & my second blog - Tales of Chaos - is basically my journal. And for my thoughts, rambles & personal posts.
It's up to you if you want to follow or read that. Depending on whether you interested in that sort of blog.
But it's there. And mostly full of crap right now.
Like I say, It's my journal. So that's that.
But I will be posting a lot on it. It's where everything else I write ends up.

I'm alive, updates & more birthday dresses!

I am indeed alive, I kind of took a break without telling you. Sorry about that.
But while I was absent I done some thinking... about my blog & all that jazz.  Sometimes I just want to start all over again, because my blog is continually going in the wrong direction. Often I feel like 90% of my blog posts are posted because I feel they have to be posted. That was never the reason I started this blog.
But I'd rather not delete all my posts. I said it before and never done it, but I am gonna make a dramatic change in the things I post. I will be solely posting the things that I want to post and trying to steer my blog in the right direction. And form into the blog I wanted when I first started.
Anyway yeah, thanks for sticking around while I took an unannounced break! 


It's getting far too close to my birthday - 21 days! - And I'm yet to buy a dress. But I'm hoping to buy one when I get back from Sheffield next week.
I found some more dresses that I adore. And may be buying one of them to wear on my birthday.

Changes.

So, there are to be changes! In a effort to blog more and make my blog more personal I will be combining my music blog with this blog. So I'll be doing music posts on here now too.
& I want to make my blog more personal, because that's why I started my blog in the first place - to share things, to post what I want not what I feel I should & have an all round personal blog. Right now I feel my blog is... all over the place and... blah.
So changes are in the sort of things I'll be posting. I'm not doing anything crazy like changing the name, as I was very impressed with myself when I came up with 'rock 'n' roll gypsy', haha!
Fashion is a big part of my life, so none of what I usually post will be disappearing.
I'm just widening the area of what I post.
So this is just a little heads up.


And I have so much to catch up on still... so posting might be a little slow. If it is, sorry.

Hey there stranger!

I'm just about back! I took a little (...big?) break and I finally managed to get a new laptop and now I think everything should return to normal.
My new laptop isn't exactly what I wanted - it's a baby laptop - it's very cute but not exactly what I want. But it's all I can afford right now. And as long as I can get on the internet, that's all that matters really.
Today, I just have a quick post - (although later, if I have time, I may do a proper post) - of my instagram photos! I'm a little in love with instagram, I think it's awesome!

Finally

WeHeartIt / Tumblr

Finally, we have internet! Having moved on the 11th, I figured it'd take them a couple of day's to re-connect us (it's not as if we were changing providers...) but apparently not. It took just over a week.
I'm sure we're all aware that I'm nothing without the internet (haha) It was kind of nice for a few days...
I got a lot done. I unpacked a lot more stuff than I would have if I had internet access.
Sometimes it's nice to take a little break, turn your laptop off, just sit and read for a while.
But not for 10-11 days... for me.
And so I'm more than glad everything's (nearly) back to normal.
I have a lot to catch up on... and I mean I lot. I have 149 messages and 305 (and counting) unread blog posts on bloglovin.
So today, after I've been out, I will be playing catch up properly & checking out all the comments you've left, visiting your blogs etc.
A huge thank you for understanding and sticking around even though there's been a bit of a delay in posting and lack of real posting.

Welcome to Rock 'N' Roll Gypsy!

A true face lift has happened!
I decided it was needed, and then I've been thinking of changing the name but nothing came to me until today.
I quite like it. It fits in well. ♥

I am going to start blogging properly. I actually mean it this time.
I'm moving house in 2 weeks, so when everything's done/sorted/settled my head will return to it's 'normal' self... meaning it won't have a thousand things going round and round that desperately need sorting before a certain time. So I'll have time to focus on other things, like writing. Finally.


I will try to blog later though, if I have time.
Meanwhile, let me know what you think of the new design (and name!).

I'm such a bad blogger recently, it's unbelievable. 
But I love blogging so much and really want to blog more often and I do plan to.
I guess things are just a little crazy right now and every time I plan to blog, I haven't had any time to gather inspiration for a blog post - and nothing relatively interesting happens in my life - so I just don't blog. Because I don't want to blog about boring things or just blog about nothing.

And so welcome to an update on my life. (Haha) A bit of a contradiction (see above), I'm sorry.
Every now and then I just like doing a little.. update, on what's going on and so here's what's happening right now...

1. Taylor Swift (!!)
As of tomorrow, it's 7 days (or one week!) until I head off to Manchester to see Taylor Swift. I've officially ran out of words to express my feelings of excitement I think. (P.S click here for my blog post about it!) My main focus is completely everything to do with this now.


2. Moving... again
If we hadn't moved enough already (England... Scotland... Wales... More England... More England) my parents have decided to move again. Back up near my sister, (Norfolk to be precise.) and when I say 'near' I actually mean a street away. Yeah. So we're moving on the April 11th. Oh what fun.


3. Songwriting
I'm still completely in songwriter mode. And after nearly having a heart attack after realizing most of my lyrics are saved on my laptop and it wouldn't turn on (!!) I'm currently writing them all out into one of my various brightly colored notepads (I seem to collecting them sub-consciously.) I'm also hoping to record some songs soon :] Yay.


4. Packing (and finding things)
This falls into the 'moving' subject, but anyway. It's one the of the things I just really, genuinely dislike.
I just find it really boring and stressful. But it's definitely interesting sometimes. Particularly if you have a lot of junk that you've kinda just stuffed away at the back of a cupboard like me. I found a lot of things I thought I'd lost, a lot of things I can't remember ever getting (haha) and a hell of a lot of junk.
Nearly everything is packed and my shelves and cupboards are looking very bare :[


5.  Thinking. Planning. Sorting
Lastly, I've been doing a hell of a lot of thinking and planning and sorting.
Life wise, mostly I guess. Living my life the way I want and getting the most out of it is really important to me.
I often feel like I'm wasting my life, not doing the things I really want to. I don't want to have major regrets later on in life.
A lot of things are gonna change really soon.


So that's whats going on with me right now... I did say my life wasn't interesting remember.
:') Hopefully I'll catch some time soon to gather enough inspiration for an interesting blog post.

Preparing to Speak Now.

[Note: I haven't blogged in forever, even though I said I would, sorry about that.]


So, it's just two weeks 'til I head off to Manchester to see Taylor Swift - I would go into why & how much this means to me, but I wouldn't know where to begin... or stop :P
I wanted to blog and so I figured I'd blog about this and tell you what I'm doing/how I'm doing it - It's probably more interesting to swifties, but anyway.

Let's start at the beginning:
I'm getting a train to Manchester (oxford road) in the morning that takes just under 4 hours (...I guess it's good I like travelling) I should get in at 3:40 and then I'm getting a taxi (because, I'm not, I repeat, not, getting lost) to my hotel and checking in.
At 4:00/4:30 I'm heading down to Victoria station to meet some swifties (yay!) :D And to paint faces and such.
(Warning: If you are a swiftie, there is a 95% chance I will hug you. Just saying.)

I took some photos earlier of my 'speak now bag' that was formally called my 'gig' bag but couldn't resist re-naming it.
It has all the stuff I'm taking with me to Victoria station/The arena.

This is the actual bag. It's more of a mini bag. And it's SO sparkly (!!) 

which is always awesome.

The inside is very purple themed.

The contents! - Face paint, UV face paint, My 'speak now' wristband,

eyeliner 'pen', green & purple liquid eyeliner & my purple bow for the

purple ribbon project.

I'm painting a '13' on my hand in purple and green with a black outline and with face paint I'm doing a heart with 'TS' in it on one cheek and 'speak now' on the other.
And I'm planning on wearing a purple t-shirt that says 'Be Fearless and Speak Now' in silver glitter.
And on the back it has my Taylor Connect username. :D
This is the plan anyway.

Recent Adventures - The Weekend

Recent Adventures ~

Hellooo! I promised to re-start blogging today. So I figured I'd start with an update.
I spent the weekend in Nottingham, but before the weekend arrived I was still in 'secret project mode' - When I start a new project I tend to not tell anyone (And I literally mean no one...) anything at all. I'm very ambitious, but constantly living in fear of talking about something and it not working out. And so I choose to tell people about it when it's done and when I know everything's worked out.
And so my life is currently all about this one project. Like, all my time is being put into this. Which is why posting may occasionally fall a little slow (I'm sorry if that happens) and I keep disappearing for a few days on social networking sites.
So, that's just so you know if I disappear. No worries, I'm just in 'Secret Project HQ' :')

So anyway. I headed off to Nottingham on Saturday to see My Chemical Romance - Possibly my favourite band, and one of the few bands/singers that managed to help me through a lot of bad times.
I can't put into words my level of excitement about seeing them, being in the same room as them, or even the show itself.
It took me a while to calm down. And realize it had actually happened and this wasn't just one of my frequent mad dreams.
I took some photos, they aren't the best because my camera is rapidly going downhill :[

Sunday was uneventful as ever. I was Nottingham bound though, which was slightly different. I was Nottingham bound because I couldn't get all the way home on a Sunday due to shit public transport. So I literally spent the day in a hotel room watching tv, eating unhealthy food and laying around with my laptop.
It was pretty cool though.


Possibly the greatest Saturday of my life.... (followed by the laziest Sunday of my life).
I'm still catching up on sleep :| I'm incredibly tired.
Buuut, I have a lot of things to do. Including catching up with over 200 unread blog posts. My project. And blogging.

It's time to play catch up!
